What are the system requirements for using eSTART Internet?
The following are the basic hardware and operating system requirements that your computer must meet in order to use Startec Internet Service:
  • Microsoft® Windows® 95 or later operating system (Microsoft Windows ME® and Macintosh computers are not supported at this time)
  • 90 MHz Pentium processor or faster
  • Minimum 16 MB of RAM
  • Minimum 120 MB free disk space or 50 MB free if you already have Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher browser software
  • Minimum 56Kbps modem
  • CD-ROM drive

Can I check my e-mail when I am away from home?

Through Startec Internet Service WebMail (http://webmail.eStart.com) you can easily check your e-mail from work, school, an Internet café, or anywhere you have access to a computer with a browser and Internet connection. Startec WebMail is a free service to Startec Internet Service members. To check your mail now, go to http://webmail.eStart.com and type in your e-mail address and password. You'll have immediate access to all your e-mail. It's that simple!

Are there any limitations on my personal web space?
You are limited to 5MB of free web space. In addition, your Startec Internet Service personal Web pages may not contain pornography or illegal material of any sort. For more complete information read the Startec Internet Service User Agreement.
